Do SumoSprings Touch the Axles on a 2014 Ram 2500
Updated 03/30/2021 | Published 03/26/2021 >
Question:
I am interested in the SSR-312-47 for my 2014 Ram 2500 Tradesman. How long are these replacements for my stock bump stops? I have 6.5inch with the truck unloaded. I want something that is not engaged with the truck unloaded as to not make the ride any rougher. Attaching our 5th Wheel Trailer s the rear to level with the front of the truck. I am hoping for a little more stability when towing.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The SumoSprings # SSR-312-47 will be touching your axle when the trucks suspension is relaxed. These are much softer than Timbrens so you may not notice much of a difference in ride quality from factory. The SumoSprings will provide support in the rear and when cornering when towing your camper.
