Question:

Im looking at the Draw-Tite hitch assembly #76128 for a 2023 Honda CRV. Mine is a hybrid. The description says not compatible with the hybrid. Is this only because of interference with the trunk-opening sensor, or is it something else?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128 will not fit on your 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid due to a underbody cover. This cover is only present on hybrid models and the cross tube of the Draw-Tite receiver will not fit with this cover. I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848. This receiver has a hidden cross tube which fits behind the rear fascia and provides a much cleaner appearance after installation. I have included an image below with this receiver installed on a Hybrid so you can see the cover.
