How To Find The Correct Hitch Height For B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch BWRVK3670

I have a 2020 Montana 3761 and just purchased the B and W Companion hitch for the 2020 Ram 2500 and was wondering what height I needed to put this hitch at for the camper to be level, or how would I measure this? Thank you

To determine the correct height setting for your B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3670 in your 2020 Ram 2500 there are a few variables.

First you will want to level your trailer and measure from the ground to the bottom of the pin box. Once you have that measurement you will want to measure from the ground to the head unit of your # BWRVK3670 and get it as level as possible using either the 17", 18", or 19" height setting.

If you do not have enough adjustment to get your trailer level you will also need to adjust the height of your pin box while trying different height settings on the hitch to find the perfect combination.

Keep in mind you will want to have between 5"-6" clearance between the trailer and the top of the bed rails to avoid any contact.
