Question:
Hello, need a replacement male cable for my Thule 954 Ridgeline. Part number 7521045001

Expert Reply:
I may have a solution for you, but the Replacement Locking Cable for the Thule Ridgeline bike rack- part 7521045001- has been discontinued and is no longer available. However you could use a regular cable lock like the etrailer Cable Lock - 10' Long - 5/16" Diameter - Steel - Keyed Alike # e98891 to replace this part and it would work well. It won't be a part of your Thule Ridgeline in the same manner that your old cable was, but it does provide you with a good option to secure your bikes.
