Question:
I have a 2015 Sundowner Charter SE 2+1 horse trailer. I need to lift it, so I have more clearance for the gooseneck portion over the truck bed. How do I know what lift kit I need for the trailer?

In order to determine the correct lift kit for your Sundowner horse trailer, you'll need to know the type and weight capacity of the axle you have.
For example, if you have round 3" axles you would need the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00. This isn't technically a lift kit but it actually moves your leaf springs to the top of the axle, lifting the amount of your axle's diameter plus the top of your leaf spring pack.
Or if you have a torsion axle, the Dexter #11 Torflex axles with 4,100-6,000-lb capacities, you would need the Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # K71-724-02.
I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out as well as a link to our entire selection of lift kits for you if the above options aren't what you need.
