Question:

I have a 2003 Ranger 521 VX bass boat on a tandem axel trailer. I have chronic bearing problems and I want to buy a new axel, spindles and hubs, for at least the front.

We can help you figure out how to determine what size axle can work, and to do so you will need to know just a few different things. The first thing you need to know is the weight capacity of your axle, followed by the dimensions of your current axle's hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center as in the diagram I have added.

For example the Dexter Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs # 20545I-EZ-72-10 has a 2,200 lb capacity and measures 72 inches from hub face to hub face and 58 inches from spring center to spring center, or the Dexter Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs # 35545I-EZ-89 which has a 3,500 lb capacity and measures 89 inches from hub face to hub face and 74 inches from spring center to spring center

I've added a link below to our selection of axles for you to check out, or if you get back to me with that information I'd be happy to try and find something that will work for you.
