We carry a front mount trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver that will fit your 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser. You can use Curt front mount receiver # 31367. I have included links to the instructions and a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.
When used with a winch the hitch is rated for a line pull up to 9,000 pounds, gross trailer weight up to 3,500 pounds, and vertical load up to 350 pounds.
