Question:
I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with a T-style wiring connector. This unit will not power my snowmobile trailer lights. 2 signals each side. My Toyota Camry that has a Curt T connector with separate power line from the battery handles the lights fine. Is there a powered unit available for the Tacoma or another work around?

First I recommend double checking a few things on your current T-style 4 way connector installed on your 2006 Toyota Tacoma before replacing it.
I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to verify the wires going into the converter box, and leaving the converter box with the trailer hooked up and the vehicle lights on.
If you are not getting power into the converter box I recommend double checking the fuses for your trailer lights in your Tacoma to verify they are not blown, and verifying that the connectors of the harness are plug in completely.
If you have power going into the converter box but not leaving then you have a malfunctioning converter box and will need to replace the assembly with one like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118496. Unfortunately there is not a 4-way connector harness available for your 2006 Toyota Tacoma that has a power wire which runs directly to your vehicle battery like on your Camry.
I included a video of the # 118496 being installed for you to take a look at.
