How Does Redarc Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller Install in 2018 GMC Canyon

Question:

I have a 2018 GMC Caynon. It has the Towing Package but it does not have the OEM +/-, 2 prong item on the dash. What to I need to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller in this vehicle.

Your 2018 GMC Canyon has brake controller wiring present under the dash of the truck since it has the factory tow package so all you need to install the Redarc Tow Pro part # RED44FR is the controller itself and you'd be set.

There will be a wire bundle under the dash, to the left of the steering column, held together with a white tag. That tag should list the functions of each of the wires.
