Question:
Im considering buying the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite brake controller for installation on my 2017 Nissan Frontier. The fourth picture at the Etrailer site RED44FR shows a trim piece for the controller knob. Does that trim piece actually come with the brake controller. If so, does it fit a 2017 Nissan Frontier, or do I need to buy a separate trim piece? Thank you

The trim piece in question does come included in the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional # RED44FR you were looking at, though you may or may not use it depending on how you decide to mount the knob. There is not a trim piece that is confirmed to fit your 2017 Nissan Frontier at this time.
To install the # RED44FR in your 2017 Nissan Frontier you will also need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED39FR which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your vehicle. If your vehicle came with the factory 7-way connector the installation will be complete.
If you do not have the factory 7-way connector you will need to add one using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118281 and mounting brackets # PK12711U and # C57202.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
