Question:

I have a new 2021 Subaru Outback. I want to put the Curt 2 hitch on it C67JR. I had the same or similar hitch on my 2017 Outback got it from you guys. Question is: what accessories do I need to have a 7 Bargman style connector? Do I need both the vehicle 4 pin adapter and the 7 ? I dont need 4 pin at the back, just 7. I prefer a 7 pin connector that has heavier gauge wiring for the 12V and ground for the charging circuit. Thank you!

Since your 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon does not have factory trailer wiring you'd need to first install a 4-way with part # 118467 and then convert it to a 7-way with a 7-way adapter like the part # 37185 to give you the 7-way. But since you are wanting to have the 12 volt circuit active your best solution is the adapter # ETBC7L instead of the 37185 as it comes with the wiring needed to complete that circuit.

This will work great with the Curt hitch part # C67JR as well.
