Question:

Interested in the Thule XTR T2 Pro platform hitch 2 mount bike rack. Will it work on a 2015 and 2018 Subaru Forester? Is there a certain distance from bumper that my hitch receiver needs to stick out past bumper?

So long as they have 2" trailer hitches, your 2015 Subaru Forester and 2018 Subaru Forester are both 100 percent compatible with the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH83JV.

These two vehicles have the same body style so the same hitches - like the Draw-Tite # 76182 - fit them, and will have enough clearance to use this rack. Based on our test fit of the hitches for these vehicles, the T2 Pro will have plenty of clearance, but it is a good idea to verify you have the clearance on your Forester.

The T2 Pro XTS measures 7 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack, and when folded up it is 5 inches to the closest part.
