I would be happy to recommend a base plate kit for your 2015 Jeep Cherokee that will allow you to use your Blue Ox Aventa LX Tow Bar # BX7445.

The only base plate kit compatible with your tow bar is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1138. If you do not already have safety cables I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643.

Since you mentioned that you already have the Brake Buddy Vantage for a supplemental braking system you will just need wiring to complete your flat tow setup.

I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will add a 6-way connector to the front of your Jeep, and the included 7-way to 6-way cord will plug into the 7-way connector on your tow vehicle to power the lights. The included diodes will protect your factory wiring for feedback and damage.

You will also need Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751471, Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25, and the Mopar flat-tow wiring kit 68321424AB which you can purchase from your local Jeep dealer.

Lastly you will more than likely need a high-low adapter to level your tow bar to your tow vehicle so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.

It is always a good idea to check the recreational towing section of your vehicles owner's manual for special steps required to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed, and for any flat tow restrictions.
