If Mounted on Pickup Truck will Carrier Swing Out Enough to Lower Tailgate?

Im looking at the Yakima EXO Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2 Trailer Hitch I have a Chevy 2016 PU with a 62 tail gate. With the swing clear the tailgate so the tailgate can be opened?

The Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier will swing out and to the side of your truck. You can see this in the review video. Your tailgate should be able to open.
Finally, if it were me, I would use some Peterson # 465-4K reflective tape on the sides and rear-facing sides of the carrier for extra visibility.
