Hello, I have a question about roof rack cross members for my 2019 Jeep Cherokee with built in rails. I would like to buy cross members that can hold a ski rack or a rooftop tent for two people. I imagine the roof top tent with two people will be close to 400 lbs gross weight when in use. Like to get your opinion on what cross members to buy. I was looking at the Malone cross members below. These will allow you to mount most roof top tents and ski racks without issues since those accessories are designed to fit a variety of bar styles.

You can use a roof top tent like the Thule Tepui Low-Pro 2 Rooftop Tent - 2 Person - 400 lbs - Gray # TH8001LP204 because these tents distribute the weight differently than most other roof mounted accessories due to the stabilizing ladder and tray.
