2016 RAM 1500. Can the Demco Classic Base Plate DM9517335 be used with the Blue Ox Allure Tow Bar BX7460P?

The Demco # DM9517335 classic base plates are completely compatible with a Blue Ox Allure tow bar. No adapter is needed.

To complete your flat towing system, in addition to the tow bar and base plates, you'll need a taillight wiring harness, a supplemental braking system and possibly a high/low adapter if the installed height of your base plates has a greater than 3 inch height difference from the receiver on the motorhome. You'll also need safety cables if you don't already have them.

Here's what I'd recommend as far as the additional equipment goes:

• # BLU37TR Patriot Portable Braking System
• # RM-9332 12V outlet kit, if using Portable Braking System
• # RM-156-25 charge line kit for towed vehicles
