Trying to match some trailer springs, how should we measure them? IE follow the curve, eye to eye, etc?

In order to measure a double eye leaf spring you'll need to do so while unloaded and from the center of one eye to the center of the other. I have attached a photo below to assist. Please note, old worn out springs will measure out a bit longer than their replacement. I have attached a full list of our options below. The other thing you'll need to know is the axle capacity. The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles part # e54SR is out most common replacement measuring 25-1/8" long.
