Question:
Hi, I am looking to replace an axle on a travel trailer. It is a Dexter axle serial number 131060261. Can you let me know what I can replace it with.

I reached out to my contact at Dexter and your current axle has a hub face to hub face measurement of 88.58" and a spring center to spring center measurement of 68" with an axle capacity of 3500lbs.
The closest replacement option we have is the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with Standard Spindles-3500lb # T3584F-8974 which has a hub face to hub face measurement of 89", and a spring center to spring center measurement of 74" as shown in the included diagram. Since the hub face measurement is very close, you can remove the existing spring seats and weld new ones # TRSS238 in the correct location.
Another option is the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - EZ-Lube - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern-3500lb # 35545E-ST-89 which is the same axle as the # T3584F-8974 but includes the electric trailer brakes and hub and drum assemblies.
I included videos for all of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
