Best Kayak Carriers for Malone MegaSport Kayak Trailers

Question:

I have a Megasport Malone trailer that I use for transporting my kayaks. However, my Thule saddles for the kayaks don't fit on the Malone bars. Do you have something that I can use to haul my kayaks?

When using a Malone Megasport Kayak Trailer like # MPG535, you need kayak carriers that can fit around the 1-1/4" square Malone crossbars without T-Tracks. It is possible that your Thule saddles are t-track mounted or its clamps are incompatible with square bars.

Some Malone MegaSport trailer owners like to go with other Malone products. The Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier # MPG107MD is a popular option due to its wing-style design that allows you to take full use of the long crossbar space on your MegaSport. TheMalone SaddleUp Pro # MPG110MD is another good option if you want more adjustability. This works best when you have certain kayaks that you know you'll be carrying a lot. That way you can position the saddles to the best fit for you once, then you don't have to worry about them again. If you're carrying more kayaks and you want to maximize your space, then a J-Style like the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier # e98878 is recommended. We've used these carriers on Malone trailers and can confirm their fit around the bars.
