Question:
I have a 2004 Monaco monarch on the Workhorse w22 chassis I am considering the Tekonsha prodigy p3 brake controller as I am going to be pulling a 8.5x20 enclosed trailer with tandem axle electric brakes. I dont know if the Monarch is pre wired for a 7 pin connector. Please give me your suggestions as to what I will need to wire and control the trailer brakes and lights. Thank you

There isn't a brake controller port that I am aware of on your motorhome built on a 2004 Workhorse W22 chassis, but you can check up under the dash for a bundle of wires; they would have a white tag on them. It would generally be to the far left side under the dash if they are there.
If those wires are there you would be able to simply splice in the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.
If that bundle of wires is not there you will need the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers # 5506, which comes with enough duplex wire for your motorhome as well as the circuit breakers and other hardware needed.
I have added some links below to video reviews and help articles for you to check out as well if you'd like.
