Question:
Hi there! I have been browsing your website and I was curious if you offered single electric drum brakes for a 6,000-7,000 axle 12x2? All I have found online is sets. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Katie

Hey Katie, yes we do have the 6k to 7k trailer brake assemblies available in individual assemblies like with the part # AKEBRK-7R-SA for the right hand side and the part # AKEBRK-7L-SA for the left hand side. Which side are you looking for and what's the trailer?

Purchased these self adjusting assembles for my unit with dual dexter axles. It’s a good fit bolt on assembly. Pretty simple. You will need to do some manual adjustment when you put the drum back on. Then to complete the final adjustment just back you trailer up and apply the brakes several rimes to final adjust them. I connected the wires with small wire nuts and wrapped them real well with good quality electrical tape. You can use crimp connectors and wire shrink sleeves, just make sure the sleeves are the type with the sealing gel inside, not the Ace hardware off the shelf china junk like I bought to use, Without the gel, wire nuts and tape work just as good. Tape any excess wire to the axle so it can’t get snagged and jerked loose. Hope this helps, Etrailer’s service, shipping and communication was great
