Winniebago 29VE Steps with light.... motor is good...Control module 1510000172 rev ob is suspect..is your unit which looks to be exactly the same from the picture a replacement?

It looks like the 1510000172 part number is for the control boxes on the Revolution Series steps. We have that here.
While the # LC379146 that you referenced does look similar, this is not the correct one. The correct one for you is part # LC363980. I've linked to a video review of this control box for you to look at.
