No Drill Option for Mounting Ball of Reese 83660 Friction Sway Control on Trailer Frame

Updated 01/14/2021 | Published 01/13/2021

Question:

Ive bought a friction sway control from Reese, model number 83660. I was planning on mounting on my RPOD and then hooking it to my F250 truck. The ball plate that attaches to the the square tube of my trailer A frame needs to be screwed on. Id like not drill into the trailer frame to mount the ball on the trailer. I see that eaz lift has a sway control adaptor kit part #48385 that bolts on and doesnt require drilling. Id love to use this but it only fits on a 2X3 inch frame. My frame is 2X4 inch. Is there a comparable bolt on sway control adaptor kit that similar to part #48385 that fits on a 2X4 inch frame?

We don't offer a product like the EAZ Lift sway control adapter you mentioned, but if you don't care for the idea of attaching the ball to the trailer frame using screws, you could certainly have the ball/plate included with the
# 83660 kit welded to the trailer frame. That's the solution I'd recommend.
