Electronic brake controllers like the Tekonsha PRIMUS IQ Electronic Brake Controller, part # TK90160, receive their power through the wiring harness that plugs into the rear of the unit. The other end of the wiring harness plugs into a connector under the dash board. If you do not intend to tow anything for the foreseeable future you can simply disconnect the wiring harness where it plugs into the vehicle wiring.
In the event that in the future you do want to use the brake controller for towing a trailer you will only need to reconnect the wiring harness to restores its power and its connection to the braking system in your F-350.
