What Size Lunette Ring Works With the Brophy Pintle Hook BR27FR

Question:
How big is the hole when the hitch is closed. Im pulling a turbo till home that I bought. The hitch I own will not fit around the front of the ring. Thanks,

The Brophy Pintle Hook part # BR27FR will accept any lunette ring with an inner diameter equal to or greater than 2-1/2" which will have a thickness of 1-1/2". This is the correct way to determine compatibility between a pintle hook and lunette ring. The thickness of the lunette ring versus the opening size of pintle hook is not the correct method to use for compatibility. The opening however is 1-3/4".
