Will the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps TLA8103 Fit a 25-3/8" Wide Bracket

Question:

For part # TLA8103, Ive followed the manufacturers recommendation and measured the width between my steps brackets. My measurement is 25 3/8, which is a tad smaller than the required 25 1/2. I contacted the manufacturer and they stated that the part number listed above is the correct part. If the new steps are 25 1/2 inches wide and the inside of my brackets are a tad smaller at 25 3/8, will these steps fit? I would hate to purchase them and then I have a hard time getting them in.

The mounting bracket spacings are an industry standard, so when we see our neighbors measure within 1/8"-1/4" of this industry standard we can usually narrow down what they have. The brackets sometimes have some movement in them and regardless, these 1/8"-1/4" discrepancies are usually attribute to different points of measuring, tape measure errors, etc. The TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps part # TLA8103 for all intents and purposes will fit a 25-3/8" wide mounting bracket.
