Question:

Ok so I have a 2015 297 rls open range lite, opening size indicates 24-26 size steps. Question is just inside the door is the steps going up to bed room, the bottom step is angled inward toward the door as it goes indoors. Straight back to 7” before it angles into space where the door opening would be. IS This a problem? What would be width of the rail when folded in?

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps won't fit your 2015 Open Range Lite 297RLS. The depth of the steps is too great for your interior step.

My recommendation for your 5th wheel is the TorkLift Glow Step Revolution. This gives you stable footing and ground contact, but stores on the outside of your trailer in the traditional location. It gives you stability like the SolidStep without needing the interior space. These are very strong and stable steps that won't bounce or move side to side and you can add a hand rail # TLA7621 if desired for further support.
