Replacement Lippert Jack Plus Install Tools

Question:

I had bought p/n JF-1005H-Z to work with p/n LC285318, but unfortunately they the leg does not fit inside the jack leg. Do you have any suggestion on a leg that will work with LC285318?

I reached out to my contact at Lippert parts and found out that the Lippert # LC285318 electric jack does not have a replacement drop foot. To replace this you could install another Lippert LC285318 which you know will be a perfect fit, or you could check out the Lippert # LC643589 "Smart" Electric Jack. the smart jack has better lighting and remembers tongue possitions for quick and easy hook up.

If you decide not to run the old wires all the way to the terminal, you will need connectors for your splices. The best ever are the heat shrink crimpon but connectors, Deka # DW05745-5. If you don't already have a good crimp tool check out the Perfromance Tools # PTW30764 crimping plyers. Finally, get some Deka # DW05727-25 cable ties to clean up and secure your wiring.
