Question:
My question is this: I am looking at buying one of your hitches for my toy hauler. The product says you can bolt it or weld it. My concern on my toy hauler with a command center in my Fusion 373 with striking an arc to the frame is there any precautions I need to take so I dont short out anything?

The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703 can indeed be installed by either drilling or welding. In regards to welding, we must always recommend a professional as we are not in this area. Therefore, if you have specifics questions about this process that is who you'll need to reach out to. That said, the most standard practice to prevent damaging electronics when welding would be to disconnect the battery for said electronics which will break the circuit.
If you are concerned however the hitch will be just as strong being bolted-on.
