Can a 7 way plug be connected to this part, and how does it connect? I have a 2007 Jeep Liberty sport. Thanks,

There are products available that will convert the 4-way that is on the Tow Ready Modulite # 118524 to a fully functioning 7-way. You would want a 4-way to 7-way Adapter part # ETBC7.

The # ETBC7 comes with everything you would need to have a fully functional 7-way at the rear of your vehicle as well as allow you to use a brake controller.

Basically, you will plug the 4-way of the # 118524 into the # ETBC7 and then run a few wires and the installation will be complete. Check out the installation instructions and installation video I attached for this product also.
