Recommended Wiring Harness for 2006 Jeep Liberty Towing Utility Trailer

Hello, Im trying to figure out which wiring harness to purchase. I have a 2006 jeep liberty. I see there are a few videos which ive watched. but they dont say what the difference is between he harnesses you offer for this model. i need one for a 4x10 utility trailer. but one is more expensive than the other for the harnesses

I'm not entirely sure which you were comparing but the main difference is whether or not you have the factory tow package on your 2006 Jeep Liberty. If you are comparing brands, then Tekonsha is the way to go. We have found their wiring to be the most reliable by far. Troubleshooting a wiring issue is never fun, so I always recommend the most reliable option. We have the following available from Tekonsha:

-T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118524 (If you do not have the tow package)

-T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118381 (If you do have the tow package)

-T-One Connector Assembly for 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 20135 (If you have the tow package and would like to add a 7-way as well)

Since you don't have trailer wiring already I'm guessing you don't have the tow package which means the # 118524 is the correct choice for your Jeep. This will plug in behind your tail lights for installation and provide you with a 4-way to power your utility trailer's signal lights.
