There is a way to identify the weight rating on the Blue Ox Spring Bars. On the end of the spring bar that inserts into the head of the weight distribution system, you will see small circular notches (see photo). These notches indicate the weight rating of the spring bars.
One notch means it is rated for up to 550 lbs tongue weight. Two notches indicates up to 750 lbs tongue weight. Three notches indicates up to 1,000 lbs tongue weight and four notches indicates up to 1,500 lbs tongue weight.
