Upgrading 2005 Winnebago Journey 36G Single Entry Step to Double Step

Question:

My 2005 Winnebago Journey 36G has the Series 28 3747453 single step installed. I feel the rise of 12inch is too much and would like to install the Series 32 372261 double step. There is plenty of clearance to accommodate the larger base plate. Will the Series 32 bolt pattern match that of the Series 28? Will the double step Series 32 otherwise fit my motorhome?

Yes, you can upgrade your Kwikee 28 Series single step to the Kwikee # 372261 two step electric RV step. However, double check your measuerments as the 28 has a mounting bracket width of 24-3/4" and the 32 series has a 25-1/2" mounting bracket width. Also, the bolt pattern does not match so you will need to drill a few holes. This will certainly make getting in and out of your coach easier!
