This Stromberg-Carlson Motor and Switch Kit, part # LG-217884, is compatible with most brands of landing gear, including Lippert and Atwood. I spoke to my contact at Lippert, who manufactures the motor, and they confirmed that most landing gear that have a D-shaped connecting rod and up to a 6000 pound capacity will be compatible with this motor kit.

I suggest you confirm the brand of your landing gear and the cross-section shape of the connecting rod. If it is either Lippert or Atwood and has a D-shaped connecting rod then the motor kit should be compatible with your existing manual landing gear. If not a D-shaped rod, then it is likely that you would have to replace the connecting rod and possibly other components. Also, you need to be certain that the weight load of the 5th wheel does not exceed 6000 pounds, which is the maximum capacity for this unit.

I have attached a photo of the motor to show its mountings; this includes a measurement of the distance between the centers of the two mounting holes and the length of the two supplied mounting bolts. This should help you gauge the potential fit of this motor to your landing gear.
