Will the Gen-Y Hitch work with Lippert Lippert 387380 King Pin Box? 2017 Ford F-350 short bed tow vehicle

Thank you for the photo! Yes, the Gen-Y Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY58GR will work to replace your existing MORyde pin box for a Lippert 1621HD pin box. The sticking point here is going to be with your 2017 Ford F-350 with the 6-1/2 Foot bed since this pin box will not help with the clearance required on most short bed trucks to avoid hitting the cab of the truck during tight turns.

You can use this formula to see if you'll have enough clearance to make a 90 degree turn using the Gen-Y:

(A + B) - C = Clearance
A = Distance from the gooseneck ball center to the truck cab
B = Offset used (use 0 for now, but depending on what Gooseneck hitch you've got there might be an offset gooseneck ball available)
C = Width of the nose of the trailer divided by 2

If it's a negative number then there would be contact with the cab making tight turns and we would need to look for some alternate solutions.
