Where To Cut Underbody Panel and Facia on 2020 Honda CRV to Install Curt Hitch
Updated 11/02/2020 | Published 10/30/2020 >
Question:
Is the trim directly in the center? Or .625 off center? If off center is it to the right or left?

The trim area is skewed to the drivers side. In the 2020 model year video, at the 4:15 mark you can see that it is skewed to the drivers side, or to say left of the tow hook.
What our own installers do is to put one bolt in each side (closest to the front) of the hitch loosely then swing the hitch up to the back bumper and marks the areas that need to be trimmed. They feel that most install instructions have you cut more than necessary to ease installation.
I have included links to the 2018 and 2020 installation videos.
