Do you need to replace the door magnet when replacing the controller?

Generally replacing the Magnetic Sensor is not required when replacing the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step part # LC301702.
Since it is an exact replacement part the magnetic sensor will trigger the switch as it has on your old controller.
