Propane Hose For A 100lb Tanks With POL Female Connections

Question:
I need to connect a 100# propane cylinder with a female POL connection to my existing RV regulator which has 1/4 NPT connections. My existing pig tails are 1/4inch NPT male threads. Can I use this hose? I would connect to the 100# cylinder on the POL end, and remove an existing pigtail from one of my 30# tanks, and replace with the end of this hose. Is this an appropriate use of this hose? There are other option but they all seem to have MIF fittings, which would require me to add an adapter. This seems to overall be the lowest cost, which is making me second guess myself!

Yes , the MB Sturgis Hose Assembly - Soft Nose POL x 1/4" NPT - 10' Item # 100202 is a supply hose and can be used to connect to the POL connection on the 100lb tank. Both male ends are 1/4" male threads so one 30lb tank pigtail would be removed and the 1/4 male NPT would connect into the T-fitting coming from your second tank and pigtail. This would provide you with 130lbs of propane rather than only 60lbs.
