So if it's an extended cab (regular doors in the front and small doors in the back) this will not fit? If that's the case is there anything you recommend?

Yes the Aries nerf bars # AA204046 that you referenced are a fit for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD as long as it's a double cab. There is no drilling required to install these also.
