For Jameson C. I have ordered the bx1736 base plates and the bx7420 tow bar as per your recommendations. Because the vehicle is a diesel I do not believe that the rm-766 disconnect switch will work, please confirm. Is rm-152-98146-7 compatible with a diesel? If so Ill order that also after I hear from you. Thanks for your help.

I checked with Roadmaster and the RM-766 cannot be used with the diesel engines likes what you have in your Silverado. The lighting kit part # RM-152-98146-7 will fit and work great in your 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500.
