Question:
My brake controller Curt # C24VV will not adjust it stays at L9 and will not allow me to adjust. So trailer brake is very aggressive. I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado half ton. I have unplugged and replugged several times with no change. Not sure what to do now. I purchased the brake controller on 2014 and not sure if there is any warranty or have to purchase a new brake controller thanks for your help.

On the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller part # C24VV there are two adjustments to be made. The first is the silver wheel on top this adjust the output of the controller. The second is on the left side of the controller it is a small slide. You need to slide it toward the front of the vehicle for less aggressive braking and toward the driver for more aggressive braking.
If you have adjusted this and it does not change the controller needs to be replaced. The good news is any curt controller will plug directly into your existing pigtail including of course the Curt TriFlex which is still available today.
