Question:
The car comes standard now with front and rear underbody spoilers or some would call fascia, I guess? Any word on this model needing fascia or underbody spoiler trimming? I did notice that the Draw-tite hitch hangs a little lower. I just ordered vehicle today 10/27/2012 and want to make sure hitch install is still able to be down without altering the spoiler.

We do know that on the Toyota Matrix XR and XRS versions there is fascia trimming required to install trailer hitch # 24812, but not on S models. I have included a couple of links showing installation for you to view.
If you plan on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # 3593 and you can use hitch pin and clip # PC2. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.
