all the pics for this model show wagons not sedans. will this model still work?

We have only installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12270 on the Outback Wagon, but it is confirmed to fit your 2002 Subaru Outback Sedan too!
I've included the video of us installing the hitch on a 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon because it will be a very similar install so check that out!
