Can this be used remote? For example from my house when trailer is parked in my driveway?

As long as there isn't a competing signal, you should have no problem viewing the camera angle(s) from the house.

It is designed so when you are camping you can be at a different campsite talking to other campers and still have a view of your site. You just need to make sure you have power to the camera and the monitor for use.
