We have a Coachmen Santara 1998 motor home and the electric steps quit functioning. We are struggling as to which part to order...the control unit/ the gear box / or the motor or all?

Since the Kwikee steps on your 1998 motorhome just stopped working, the best option is the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145.

This includes the motor, linkage, control unit, switch kit, and hardware needed for install and has the added benefit of being an upgraded motor for your older steps. This will work with Kwikee Series 22, 23, 28A, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, and 40 steps.
