Can Trailer Hitch for 2020 Honda CR-V Be Used For Lifting with Jack
Updated 08/06/2020 | Published 08/04/2020 >
Question:
Ive noticed that all the hitch mounts utilize the lift hook or tow hook as some call it as part of the install. The lift hook is needed when using a floor jack to lift up the rear end. Can you safely lift on the hitch since it would now cover the hook and not damage the vehicle?

Correct, class III hitches like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76128 which is what I recommend for a 2020 Honda CR-V can be used as a lift point for a floor jack. This has been confirmed by Draw-Tite in the past.
