How thick is the plate?

The plate that the winch mounts to is 1/4 inch thick. This mount has 2 sets of four (eight) holes, centered on the cable opening, in a rectangular pattern for mounting the winch to the plate and the measurements are 6-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches on center and 10 by 4-1/2 inches on center.
