Question:
Can the Come Up Seal Slim 12.5k be mounted feet down instead of feet forward?

I do have an option for you but the ComeUp Seal Slim Gen2 Off-Road Winch - Synthetic Rope part # CU295057 is a foot forward mounted winch only which is not very common.
The standard mounting position of a winch is feet down, I recommend to use the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch part # BDW10039 which has a 6 HP motor compared to the ComeUp winch with a 5 HP motor. It also has 8 more feet of rope compared to the ComeUp. It has a capacity of 12,000 lbs which is he most capacity available for a utility winch that does not have to be mounted feet forward. I have attached a video for your reference.
