Can EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Hold Vertical Bike Rack

Question:

Have a fantastic vertical bike rack Lolo Rack for my 2017 Subaru Outback. Is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Part Number: 306-X7601 compatible with vertical bike racks? Will the depth of the receiver be suitable for the Lolo Rack? The CURT is not vertical rack friendly as I have found out the hard way. Thanks. A

Hey A; the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7601 is compatible with vertical bike racks. This has a 525 lb max tongue weight which should be enough for the Lolo. However, I'm not seeing anything on specific receiver depth requirements.

Does your bike rack require a specific depth past the center of the hitch pin hole? I don't have one out in the warehouse right now but I would be happy to check with EcoHitch.

I put this Eco hitch on both of my vehicles, 2018 Volkswagen Atlas and a 2015 Subaru outback, my bike rack is a swagman brand with a 2 inch hitch, adapter and a two bike capacity, I find this hitch to be perfect on both vehicles for my bike rack, hope this helps

I have hauled all sorts of different things including a hitch mount cargo carrier without any issues whatsoever on clearance or the like…. Hope this helps
