Troubleshooting Truck Bed Slide In Camper Marker Lights
Updated 07/22/2020 | Published 07/20/2020 >
Question:
The lights on my lance camper all he sudden stopped functioning correctly. The running lights don’t work and when I turn the right turn signal on the turn signal and stop light and reverse lights flash. I disconnected my harness from truck and when the right turn signal is on I have blinking power to both the brake light wire and right turn signal wire. This is with my truck disconnected completely from harness. There are no fuses blown for any of the trailer light circuits in the truck.

The fact that you're getting 'bleed over' from one function to the other indicates a ground problem. Check all the ground connection on the plug that joins the camper and the truck, and the harness on the truck that connects to the tow package wiring. Somewhere you have a loose ground connection.
I'll link you to a help article about troubleshooting trailer wiring. The article is about towed trailers, but the same advice outlined in the article would hold true for a truck bed camper like yours.
